In case you would like to see a spectacular landscape, you must visit Djurdjevica Tara – the bridge on Tara 149 m high. In the time it was built (1940) it represented the biggest concrete arched bridge in Europe.
The mountain Bjelasica, with vegetation extremely rich in variety of types is spread in the central part of the country. Dense forests hide gigantic 400 years old trees because of which it has been called one of the last virgin forests in Europe. Dazzling contrast represents wide meadows with colorful field flowers. South west from Bjelasica, rocky Platije amplifies along magical landscapes where one of the deepest canyons is situated- the Moraca canyon. Squeezed between the steep rocky stones, somewhere emerald and somewhere turquoise does it go through. One of the most beautiful orthodox monasteries stands above it. The Moraca monastery had been built in 1252. Not far from it, there is a gazebo from which you can see Svetigora waterfall, flowing just past the very monastery.
